About the Event
Whether you enjoy doing social media or just think of it as an essential part of selling your Art in the 21st century, many artists would say they want to be ‘better’ at it. This wish can run alongside feeling uncomfortable with it, thinking it swallows up too much time, or never being sure if it makes a difference. Tonight’s meeting is a great opportunity to listen to an industry professional talk about how to use social media as effectively as possible.
Emerson Povey is a digital strategist who has led social media and digital campaigns for 15 years. He’s worked with Amnesty International, Marie Curie, the London Cycling Campaign and has been a Guardian Masterclasses tutor.
He will be talking about how to make the most of different platforms, who you are targeting and how to engage with them, as well as sharing some ideas on why, how and what to post.
If this session fixed just one thing for you, what would you want that to be?  Share this in advance with Anna, and we’ll make sure that Emerson addresses as many as possible during his talk. Please note- this session does not look at the 'basics' of how to set up accounts, how to post etc. For help with the basic practicalities speak to Anna about alternatives. 07747 032912
