Living from Art: Andy Owen- Smith Artist and Gallerist

Andy Owen-Smith will be sharing his development and early career as an artist, why he chose to follow another path working in finance but always continuing to paint. He has now seized the opportunity to return to his art- a story that will resonate with many. He will also share his journey renovating a building on Montpellier Street, Cheltenham and opening Gallery Sixteen as an exhibition venue for himself, and for other artists of all kinds looking for space to sell their work.

Many of our Living from Art meetings are aimed at the practical and business needs of artists.  This one will also interest anyone who loves art and want to understand an artists' journey and also the different ways gallery spaces can work - for customers, artists,  and the people who plan and run galleries.
